At Haruhi-en Niho

We’ve got tons of cucumbers from our neighbors and resident’s family.

We really appreciate it.

Ms. T was cutting cucumbers, so I went to look for a camera.

Well, I could find it before she’s done.

She’s usually done very fast before taking a photo.

Q-taro: “Oh, are we gonna have only cucumbers today?”

Ms. T: “No, oh..well, I should not do things like this. My son would get mad at me!”

Q-taro:” Anyway, you must be something, cutting these so fast, even though you’re chatting and not looking!”

Wimbledon championship tournament has started!

Millions of tennis fans across the world are really into it.

Here is an all-night fan for the tournament, too.

Q-taro: “It’s already been around at midnight!

Don’t you feel sleepy?”

Mr. N: “Yes, I do. I do feel sleepy, but I want to watch this. Let me!”

Q-taro: “It’s O.K., if you want. Well, I’ve just asked you if you want to go to bed or not, because you looked so sleepy”

Mr. N: “Ohhhohhhwaohh!(yawning)Sleepy! I want to go to bed! But I want to watch this! Give me coffee! Why don’t you come and have seated to watch this?”

After all, Mr. N has watched the tennis match until 3 A.M..

One of the players of the match looked Roger Federer. Who was his opponent?

Rainy season has started. We’ve not expected such hot weather as in summer.

A small guest came to our home to enjoy the cool(?).

No, he/she is not a guest, because he/she is a tenant of eaves of our home!

Q-taro: “Ms. Y, can you name that swallow?”

Ms. Y: “Well, let me see,,, Swallow is swallow. Its name is Swallow, isn’t it?

Ms. S: How about Hachi?

Q-taro: “Hachi? Does the name come from ukkari Hachi-be on the famous TV drama ‘Mito-komon’?”

The swalllow is named as ‘Hachi’ with no vote, after all.

At Haruhi-en Niho

After breakfast, Mr. M and I went for walk to the Ikaida crossroads the other day. There were lots of koinobori swimming in the air above the river. We saw many people gathering there. Mr. M asked me to go there to listen to the guest’s speech.

It was held by Fushino river fishery cooperative. Niho kodomo-en (nursery school) children and Niho elementary and junior high students released young ayu fish into Niho river. Isn’t it a good idea to leave the nature of Niho to children brought up there, is it?

At Haruhi-en Niho

I found an umbrella hung on a rear-windshield wiper of our lift car, when I was going on patrol around our facility after

night-shift!

I guess some resident did it.

Something good may happen..
